The 5/8 Yearbook Club meeting that is scheduled for today is cancelled.
Information about this year's 5th grade musical "The Lion King" is available now on our Google Classroom page. Please join using the code iukw2vvi. You may also pick up an information packet in Mrs. Straight's room- 3101. Be sure to log in ASAP as auditions are right after break. We're not LION- this is going to be an exciting experience!
The boys modified swim team had a great meet last night against HFL. Calvin Stuhler finished first in two of his events while Braden Wride and Caleb North got first in all three of their events. Keegan Skivington, Jameson Ressman, Zayden Miceli, Tyler Goetze, and Aiden Carty got personal bests in their events. Caleb North, Sam Boyer, Calvin Stuhler, and Braden Wride secured first place in the very last relay and event of our season. Great season boys!

Last night the girls modified B basketball team defeated Batavia 37-22. Leading scorers for the squad were KahMora M. with 19 points and Leah C. with 7. The girls played a dominant game where 7 of the 9 girls scored points! Great team win! Next game is home Monday at 5pm, go Saints!

Attention ski and snowboard club members, our last trip to Bristol is Wednesday, January 28. Please drop off equipment at door 35 between 7 and 7:40. Late equipment arrivals will not be secured. TEACHERS, please allow ski club members to leave class at 2:35, along with the 6th grade dismissal.
The boys swimming and diving team had an exciting meet against Irondequoit last night. Dominic Volta made sectionals in the 100 freestyle and had his career best time! Some other highlights include 13 career best times. All boys did an amazing job and had a great meet! Congratulations!

The boys modified swim team had a great meet Wednesday against Canandaigua. Tyler Goetze, Aiden Carty, Jameson Ressman, Calvin Stuhler, and Keegan Skivington all got best times in their events, while Sam Boyer secured 2nd place finishes in both of his events. Braden Wride placed first in both of his events, bringing his record up to 8 consecutive first place finishes. Great meet boys!

The Saints Boys Varsity Basketball Team won their third game in a row last night, 48 to 40 over Wilson. The Saints were led by Jack Demmin who finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Brayden Stedman finished with 14 points and Landon Healey finished with 8 points and 9 rebounds. The Saints will take on their crosstown rival Gates-Chili at Gates Chili on Saturday at 6pm. The Boys Varsity Swimming and Diving Team had the CC Classic Invitational over the weekend. The Swim team placed 5th out of 12 teams and there were 30 career best times. Jordan Leastman made a sectional cut in the 100 backstroke. In the CC Diving Classic, Kyler Thomas placed first, which is currently the highest 11 dive score in New York State. Jordan Leastman and Isaac Bailey also did an amazing job at the CC Diving Classic placing 3rd and 6th. Congrats to the team for a great job! The boy’s next meet is Tuesday 1/20 against Spencerport. The boys modified swim team won their meet against Gates on Saturday. There was a record number of first place finishes from Braden Wride, Caleb North, Tyler Goetze, and Calvin Stuhler. Congratulations to our Modified and Varsity Cheer Teams. This past Saturday, they competed at the Mercy Paws Up Competition. Our modified team came in 1st place and won the award of best tumbling. The Boys Varsity Swimming and Diving Team had a meet on Saturday vs York. There were many great swims including 29 career best times and 3 sectional cut times. Sectional cut times were made by Nate St. Lucia in the 200 free, Kyler Thomas and Isaac Bailey in the 100 back. Congratulations to our divers at the Yeti meet Friday 1/9 and Isaac Bailey for qualifying for states. The boys next meet is Tuesday 1/13 at Victor. Wish them luck! (rgruhn@cccsd.org)

There were 13 career best times, 2 season best times, and a sectional cut was made by Zach Carmen. Their team has another meet on Saturday 1/10 against York. Go Saints! (rgruhn@cccsd.org)

The Boys Swimming and Diving Team had another win and an incredible meet vs. Rush- Henrietta on Saturday January 3rd. There were 27 career best times and 3 season best times. Sectional cuts were made by Ben Wermuth in the 200 free, and 500 free, Zach Carmen in the 200 IM, Isaac Bailey in the 100 free, and Zander Haywood in the 100 back. Great job to all swimmers! The team’s next meet is Tuesday 1/6 against Brighton. Go Saints!
